HTC has a new update for its Edge Sense software, which is an app that exists on Google’s Play Store. This means, you won’t need to update your device, only the app.
The HTC U 11 is undoubtedly one of the best smartphones of 2017 thus far and is a personal favorite of many behind the scenes at Droid Turf. The phone has now been on the market for a few months, and according to HTC, it has been quite a hit thanks to Edge Sense. Very soon, the flagship smartphone could gain more Edge Sense functionality, as teased over on YouTube by the Taiwanese manufacturer.
HTC will announce a new smartphone tomorrow, the long anticipated HTC U 11, which was previously code-named ‘Ocean‘. The device will be officially uncovered at an event in Taiwan, and is expected to succeed last year’s HTC 10 flagship and coexist alongside HTC U Ultra and HTC U Play.
Late last year, HTC promised us 3 smartphones for the first quarter of 2017. The quarter has now concluded and we have only two, the HTC U Ultra and HTC U Play. However, a new HTC U could be on the horizon. The latest leak showcases what could be the third rumored smartphone said to arrive in April, a device that was previously code-named “HTC Ocean.”
Rumors surrounding the next-generation Google Pixel smartphones are heating up, and earlier in the week, more was learned thanks to an early leaked render of the supposed ‘Google Pixel XL 2’ device that could launch in October.
HTC promised no more or less than three smartphones for quarter one of 2017. With one day remaining, we have just two, HTC U Ultra, HTC U Play and HTC One X10. Though HTC won’t deliver on the promise it made back in December, a new smartphone in that of the HTC U doesn’t seem to be far off.
