In February, Samsung announced Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. But that was not all. The South Korean company, like it usually does, revealed a bevy of accessories for the new smartphone models including the first-ever DeX ‘Pad’.
Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ in a matter of weeks, but there appears to be something more in the rumor mill. DeX Pad could be a new DeX Station-like device for Samsung’s newest phones. The difference from the DeX device that debuted last year is in the name ‘DeX Pad.’ Instead of a stand up dock, this one lays down and can turn your phone into a touchpad.
DeX was first introduced alongside Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8 smartphone. We know the name DeX from Samsung’s DeX Station, a dock that turns one’s Galaxy Note 8 into a desktop like experience when paired with an external monitor. A few months ago, it was discovered that Samsung was working on a new DeX model, and now there’s proof.

Now, the Unpacked 2018 event has been confirmed by the tech giant to happen on February 25, one day prior to the start of the week-long trade show.
Earlier than we expected, Google introduced the first Android P Developer Preview. The news broke last week and we recently wrote up a post with all the official information. Android O, which we know to be Oreo, has reached less than 5% of all Android devices worldwide as of February, with Google already on to the next version. Android 8.1 is still relatively new, and very few flagships have been updated as of yet by manufacturers who will soon turn [Read More]
