This week, Sony announced yet another Android smartphone. Xperia XA2 Plus is an upper mid-range device with many qualities of a flagship and will be sold alongside Sony’s more premium handsets: Xperia XZ2, Xperia XZ2 Premium and Xperia XZ2 Compact.
Sony introduced several Xperia XZ2 smartphones earlier this year. All are premium and feature a new Ambient Flow metal and glass design that adopts many of today’s trends. The most premium of the bunch hands down is Sony’s Xperia XZ2 Premium, which is the most recent and up to date model. Today, the handset went up for pre-order on Amazon.
Earlier this week, US Carrier Verizon announced that Sony’s newest upper mid-range smartphone model can be used on its wireless network. We’re talking about the Xperia XZ2 Compact that released a few weeks ago. It won’t be sold by Verizon, which doesn’t surprise us, but you can buy the phone unlocked and bring it over to Verizon as it has gained certification for Big Red’s network.
