Pokemon Go made a big splash this week! The game released July 6th, and just 8 days later, it was awarded the title ‘most downloaded mobile game ever.’ The previous leader was Candy Crush, which released back in April of 2012. Manufacturers, cellular carriers and people all over the world and taking notice.
Summer is flying by, and as the Fall approaches, Google fans begin to get excited. This is because it’s the time of year Google publicly releases the latest version of their mobile operating system, Android. The Fall is also a time of year to look forward to because, with new software, comes new hardware.
Every year, Google raises the question of what sweet dessert the Android release will be named after. However, this was the first time Google opened its quest to pick a name to the general public. Earlier in the week, Google officially named Android N as Android Nougat!
Earlier this week, we received details regarding an upcoming Nexus device. The Nexus smartphone will be made by HTC and is codenamed ‘Sailfish.’ HTC is expected to launch two Nexus smartphones this year, a smaller (Sailfish) and a larger, initially known as ‘S2.’
It shouldn’t be long before Google unveils the name of its upcoming Android N release. Like every year, Google raises the question of what sweet dessert the Android release will be? However, this is the first time Google has opened its quest to pick a name to the public.
