Google has begun a last-minute holiday sale on its Play Store similar to the one it ran over Black Friday weekend. ’12 Days of Play,’ like its name implies, will run over the next twelve days and consist of a variety of hot offers on some of the latest apps, games, movies, TV shows, and books.
Google will have fresh deals everyday for the next twelve days, getting us to January 2nd. The search giant’s opening promotion entails $0.99 movie rentals and $0.99 TV show packages. Google is also offering $5 of credit to be put toward just about any book priced at over $5 (of course).
There are also some subscription sales. Four months of Google’s Play Music service can be had for free if you’re a new member. HBO Now is 50% off for your first three months, and premium Android games like Minecraft Story Mode and more can be had at up to 80% off. Select apps are also being offered, but with bonus packages in honor of the holiday season.
Start browsing Google’s collection of deals at the first link in brackets below, or just head to the Play Store on your mobile device and locate the ’12 Days of Play’ section. Be sure to check back often as well, because more deals are expected to be added as we approach the end of the year.
