Deal: Pre-order Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL at Best Buy and save up to $100

If you’re in the market for a new smartphone, why not consider Google’s new Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL? The pair doesn’t sacrifice features with size, and comes with Google’s latest Android Oreo software paired with modern hardware and topped with machine learning in the Google Assistant and Google Lens. If I have you interested, consider purchasing either of the models from Best Buy now through October 18 at a discounted price.

Google partnered up with retailers including Best Buy, to sell its brand-spanking new Pixel 2 smartphones. The models aren’t yet available, but Best Buy is accepting pre-orders. For a limited time only, buyers of Pixel 2 can save $100 by paying just above $27 for 24 months as opposed to the $31 monthly price tag that will be set after the pre-order window closes. The deal applies to both the 64GB and 128GB versions of Pixel 2.

As for Pixel 2 XL, buyers of either the 64GB or 128GB version can save a more modest $25. This isn’t a discount worth rushing a decision, but it’ll help you conquer that hefty $849+ price tag if you’re ready. Google Home Mini comes free upon purchase verification, and shipping is included with Geek Squad Protection Plans available at option. Color availability will depend on the variant and storage capacity of choice.

Best Buy notes that the discount only applies for those with a device payment plan, meaning your device must be financed over a number of months. And as a final heads up, you’ll be getting the Verizon version of whichever phone you pre-order, so if you want the unlocked model, head someplace else.

The Verizon models are expected to receive updates at the same time the unlocked models do. The Verizon handsets can also work on any major US carrier you’d like, so there are no major setbacks with purchasing the carrier variant in this particular instance.
