We’re now just over a week out from Samsung’s Unpacked 2017 event, which will go down in NYC with a simultaneous satellite event happening in London. This is when Samsung will unveil both its much-anticipated Galaxy S8 and long-rumored Galaxy S8+. We already have a good idea as to what each will look like and run hardware wise, but the colors each handset will come in have remained hit or miss. Over the weekend, we got a better look at some possible color variations including a Purple, or Violet colored smartphone we haven’t heard about up until this point.
Samsung tends to introduce several models of its devices, including carrier variants, unlocked models, different storage capacities, and color choices. Regarding the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, the list of possibilities has been quite extensive. We have yet no real indication as to which colors Samsung will announce each flagship model in, but knowing Samsung there will be enough choices to satisfy all consumer wants.
On Saturday, a Violet-colored Galaxy S8 leaked for the very first time. This added to the current possibilities that already existed consisting of Black, White, Blue, Blue Coral, Silver, White, Gold, and Pink. This Violet colored handset appears more like a darker Magenta, but could surely find demand among those looking for something more visually striking.
On Sunday, the Galaxy S8 leaked in several other colors. In the leaks below we can see Blue, Silver and White. Nothing is confirmed yet, and there’s a chance Samsung offers different color options for each of the two models, so if you’re favorite color isn’t shown here, don’t panic. We’ve seen in the past Samsung announce up to eight total colors, flashback to the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. It’s also now typical of Samsung to follow-up with even more colors and designs, as we’ve seen with Glossy Black, the Olympics model and several super hero themed devices. You won’t be left out!
