Hot on the heels of the OnePlus X’s death, LG introduced refreshes to their mid-range X-series lineup. The series includes four new phones, the LG X Power, X Mach, X Style, and X Max. The new phones will make nice additions to the already released LG X Screen, and soon-to-be-released X Cam.
LG’s X-series is primarily aimed at the mid-range market, offering great customization in the form of multiple phones rather than a single one.
More specifically, each phone boils down to:
- LG X Power: Bigger battery (4,100mAh, that’s really big) and fast charging in a slim 7.9mm body
- LG X Mach: A flagship in the body of a mid-range phone (Faster antenna with Cat. 9 LTE, 1.8GHz processor, QHD IPS Quantum display, and a large 1.55μm camera sensor)
- LG X Style: The name says it all, a mid-range phone in the body of a flagship.
- LG X Max: All we know as of now is that it’ll sport a supersized display.
With their X-series, LG wants there to be a phone that fits everyone’s needs. And if you’re in need of the latest and greatest, there’s always the LG G5 flagship. We don’t know for certain what LG has planned for the future, but their recent moves seem to indicate a truly modular device.
