New Galaxy S9 teaser videos show off 3D emoji and cool camera functions

Until this point, the only Galaxy S9 teaser we’ve seen is the initial ‘Camera Reimagined‘ animation. This was shared by Samsung when the Unpacked unveiling date and time were set. Now, we have three additional teaser videos. They’re very short, but give us an idea of what to expect from software and the Galaxy S9’s camera.

Saying we know a lot about the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ is an understatement, and now, more information has been confirmed. In the teaser videos that come from Samsung Mobile Korea’s YouTube channel, which we’ve embedded down below for you to see, we see 3D emoji. This has been a rumored feature since other phones debuted versions similar including Apple’s iPhone X, which comes with animating emoji stickers. It appears as though this will be a new feature on Samsung’s upcoming models, only adapted to meet Samsung’s own style.

In the videos, we also see some of the camera’s abilities. Shown off is an insane low-light photography mode, which could be attributed to the new ISOCELL technology and variable aperture. We also catch a glimpse of how slow motion video will work on the upcoming smartphone models. We can’t wait to see what else Samsung’s cooked up for this year’s models, and we won’t have to wait much longer.
