OnePlus 5T now available from $499

With OnePlus officially announcing the arrival of the OnePlus 5T via its live event in New York City last week, eager hands are now waiting for the new smartphone to hit shelves. Well, you don’t have to wait any longer because the OnePlus 5T is now available.

The OnePlus 5T is now up for grabs at the company’s website (no invite system), and already some variants are seeing delays.

The OnePlus 5T has a near 6-inch Full HD Optic AMOLED display, which is a ‘Sunlight Display’ panel according to the company, meaning that it adapts to surrounding lighting conditions to provide the best experience possible. Aside from this, OnePlus 5T owners will be able to tweak their display preferences. And the night and reading modes from OnePlus 5 are back.

Underneath the gorgeous display of the OnePlus 5T is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 CPU, a choice between 6GB or 8GB RAM and of course, 64GB or 128GB on on board space. As for its camera, the OnePlus 5T touts 16MP and 20MP rear cameras as well as a 16MP front-facing snapper. There’s a 3,300mAh battery to juice the device, and Android 7.1.1 Nougat with OxygenOS are pre-installed.

Availability consists of the US and parts of Europe. Midnight Black is the only color available for now, but we’re not closing any doors on the potential of added color options in the future. The OnePlus 5T comes GSM unlocked and starts at $499 for the 6GB RAM, 64GB storage combo, and $599 for the 8GB RAM, 128GB storage model. You can only buy it outright.
