OnePlus 6 now available in Midnight and Mirror Black colors

Last week, we had you covered wall-to-wall on the OnePlus 6 Event in London. This week, the Chinese OEM’s flagship Android phone became available to select markets online.

OnePlus 6 is the successor of OnePlus 5T and has released just six months after it. As we learned last week, the phone comes in a total of three colors, but just two are available to start. These are the Midnight Black and Mirror Black options. Midnight Black has a smooth matte texture while Mirror Black is reflective with a high-gloss finish. Silk White with Gold trim will be available soon in presumably a limited quantity like many ‘limited edition’ OnePlus phones before it. Storage and RAM vary by color, so to make things simple, we’ve outlined the different versions below with corresponding pricing.

  • Mirror Black – 6GB RAM + 64GB Storage – $529
  • Mirror Black – 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage – $579
  • Midnight Black – 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage – $579
  • Midnight Black – 8GB RAM + 256GB Storage – $629
  • Silk White – 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage – Arrives in 2 weeks for $579

The phone is available from the OnePlus online store linked in brackets below. All models are unlocked and will work on select carriers in the US. OnePlus is also selling a range of accessories for the device, and a new pair of OnePlus Bullets ear buds will be made available soon.

OnePlus 6 is an easy recommendation for those with smaller pockets. OnePlus has always employed a value pricing scheme for its smartphones, which has become part of the company’s identity. For these prices, you won’t find a better option, and we’ll have more analysis and insight of the phone coming as we dive deeper into our testing. For now, some highlights you should know include the latest Qualcomm processor in Snapdragon 845, high-res front and rear cameras, and a modern design encompassing a display notch.
