Samsung’s Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are shown in new Lilac Purple color

Evan Blass is at it again with a new leak containing Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ phones. This time though, we see a new color option. Lilac Purple perfectly goes along with those new Purple wallpapers.

Blass aka @evleaks on Twitter, started hinting on the new look of Samsung’s soon to be announced Galaxy phones last month, and has carried on with more leaked renders this week.

Other than the new color, the leak just about confirms the positioning of the device’s fingerprint scanner, which is located below the main camera and not below the glass. This should make the many looking to upgrade very happy. We also see that the device sports a dual rear camera lens. There’s a good chance this combo is the upgrade in optics and overall performance we saw a few weeks ago. And new selfie stickers like animated avatars could also be on board. Hopefully the company delivers on its early teaser, “The Camera, Reimagined.”

Our expectations and hopes will be confirmed when Samsung unveils the new Galaxy S9 phones at Unpacked 2018. The event, which will happen on February 25, is one day ahead of MWC 2018’s official start. Shipment of the said phones will begin on March 16 with pre-orders starting March 1.
