US carrier T-Mobile announced this week a new ONE Military Plan for those who served. Veterans will be able to take advantage of various discounts on the Magenta carrier moving ahead with nearly 50% off a family plan including taxes and fees being a big one.
Beginning April 22, veterans who sign up with T-Mobile can plan to save on a plan known as the ONE Military Plan, which follows suite with T-Mobile’s data plan naming scheme. This plan includes all the features one gets with an unlimited family plan at 50% off. Here’s how it works.
Subscribers will pay the regular price of $55 per month for the first line and 50% less every line added from there. Since the normal price for line two is $50 per month, the price will be $25 per month, while lines three onward will cost $10 per month as opposed to $20. This is a substantial discount, and well deserved for those who served our nation.
Additionally, T-Mobile will sell select Android flagships to veterans at 50% off if they sign up for the ONE Military plan. The discount will be applied over 24 months so long as you remain on the plan. This is quite similar to a promotion Verizon is currently running, but only select Samsung flagships are eligible for this one. It’s the carrier’s way of keeping you enrolled rather than the 2-year contract agreement. Keep in mind that all the T-Mobile goodies that come with the unlimited family plan are also included here. The neat little package deal really allows buyers to get everything they need at a discounted price.
Upon verifying your military status, these deals will be available to you. I’d also expect more offerings like these to be made available in the future. The new plan will be available starting next week. Go to your local T-Mobile store or the link below for more information.
