MWC is always full of Android smartphones. However, a trusted source recently reported news coming from an inside source stating that HTC will not present a flagship smartphone in Barcelona next month at MWC 2018. Word is HTC will host a private event after MWC 2018 to introduce a successor to the HTC U 11, which puts us in March or April.
Near the beginning of 2017, HTC approached a new strategy: to launch fewer phones than it had in the past. However, as the year progressed, the company picked up the pace launching numerous HTC U 11 smartphones including a ‘Plus‘ variant and more. For 2018, the company plans to return to its strategy of launching fewer Android smartphone models.
