All the drama is finally over, at least for some Nexus owners it is. Google has begun pushing Android 7.0 Nougat, the latest version of its mobile operating system. This is not a beta, this is the public release. Like for real, it’s actually happening right now.
LG is opening its preview program to 2,000 randomly chosen G5 owners. The users in which are chosen will have the opportunity to test Google’s Android 7.0 Nougat software prior to its public rollout and send feedback to LG.
HTC’s rumored Google Nexus Sailfish has appeared on AnTuTu and Geekbench test readouts. The evidence is now incontrovertible that HTC and Google are preparing to launch a premium Nexus-branded handset by the end of 2016. While most of the attention has been directed at Marlin, the larger of the two smartphones, a pair of benchmark test results has surfaced which reaffirms the earlier reports about the smaller device codenamed ‘Sailfish.’

A new report suggests that the upcoming Nexus hardware will come with a refreshed settings menu in order to accommodate the new Google Support tool. The Support tool will allow Nexus owners to get help from Google experts by screen-sharing their device.
