Last week, Google pushed its monthly security patch update for July out to supported devices and we brought the news to you in our weekly series. If you have one of four Google phones and had trouble pulling the update from settings, you were not alone. There seemed to be an issue and thankfully Google recognized it and got it fixed right away.

In this week’s news, we covered several updates coming to Google applications. Prior to today, we passed along just one report on the possibility of upcoming Pixel 3 smartphones. Now we have alleged images said to be of screen protectors designed for two upcoming Pixel 3 devices. Like last year, Google could release both a smaller and larger variant of its Pixel phone, and thanks to our first leak, we have an idea of what to expect as far as front panel design goes.
