Sony explains why it removed the 3.5mm headphone jack with Xperia XZ2

At MWC 2018, Sony introduced a pair of smartphones: Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 Compact. These are the latest and greatest Sony has created, finally incorporating a somewhat modern design language like most of us asked. However, change came at the cost of a 3.5mm audio headphone jack, and Sony went ahead to explain why in its FAQs.

Sony revealed its latest flagship smartphones for 2018 this week as we expected during MWC 2018 in Barcelona. In need of a comeback, like some other smartphone manufacturers, the company introduced two new models in Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 Compact. And boy do they look great.
