This week, we reported over a dozen stories on news out of CES 2018, an annual conference that took place in Las Vegas, Nevada. Companies gather from around the world to show their latest projects and innovations, and this year was no exception. Companies we report on often here on Droid Turf made some important announcements this week during press conferences of their own. They include, but are not limited to: Samsung, LG, Huawei, Sony, and Google.
CES is one of the big trio (CES, MWC, IFA), and this year’s CES brought some major headlines we’d like to recap in this post. New products covered all categories including wearables, smartwatches, smartphones, and accessories. If you tuned in to Droid Turf at some point this week, you know we covered most of the hot reports. Samsung announced new Galaxy A models and the Galaxy S9 unveiling, LG announced one of the first Smart Displays with Google Assistant, Huawei talked about its US expansion plans and unveiled a new Red Honor 7X, Sony introduced a handful of new Xperia phones, and Google made an unexpected appearance all throughout with Google Assistant announcements and more. Most which was announced this week will become available this spring.
