It’s 2017. People shop in a variety of ways. With Black Friday weekend just beginning, and major brands preparing big Cyber Monday discounts, they’ll make sure that deals are available over the internet.
Anxious to find out whether smartwatches are in indeed the “next big thing,” Samsung has begun to mix things up when it comes to the wearable space. Last week at the Baselworld conference, the South Korean tech giant had loads to share including new Gear S3 smartwatch models in addition to concept pocket watches and a new value pack.
It’s always an exciting event when new mobile hardware is released. However, there’s always the slight feeling of dread that owners of the previous generation of hardware feel when they know their beloved device is officially outdated. Samsung has a history of helping these customers out by porting some features from newer hardware to older devices and the Gear S2 smartwatch is the latest example.
Samsung Pay is now 1-year-old, and it has come a long way since its initial release. It has grown incredibly fast, and has even received support for over 500 banks. If you are in the market for a new smartwatch, you might want to hold off on buying for a little bit because Samsung is gearing up to launch the Gear S3 in a few weeks time. The Korean tech giant has sent out invitations to the media for a ‘mobile event’ at the IFA 16 consumer electronics trade show in Berlin on August 31. Also confirming the launch is a teaser image (shown above) that was posted on Twitter.
