Huawei’s second generation Huawei Watch powered by Android Wear went on sale in the U.S. during the month of April. However, the Huawei Watch 2 Classic never hit shelves here in the United States after being announced during the MWC 2017 show back in early March. Release day has finally arrived, as the watch has been made available at Best Buy’s online marketplace.
Earlier this year, before we heard that the company’s CEO isn’t into smartwatches, Huawei announced the Huawei Watch 2 and Watch 2 Classic. The MWC 2017 trade show begins on February 25th, with unveilings beginning two days prior on February 23rd. Huawei is expected to make a strong presence at the event with new P10 smartphones containing high-end specifications. However, this doesn’t seem to be all Huawei has to show us. According to the company’s own CEO, we’ll see a Huawei wearable at the event. He might, just maybe, be talking about the a Huawei Watch successor.
