Android Nutella is teased by Android VP on Twitter

At Google I/O 2016, Google opened a webpage to the public allowing everyone to vote on what they’d like the next Android OS release to be called. The only requirement is that it began with the letter N, coming after M for Marshmallow and L for Lollipop. According to the Senior Vice President of Android, the winner could very well be Nutella.

Senior Vice President of Android, Hiroshi Lockheimer, was all over Twitter this morning tweeting about Android Nutella indirectly. Lockheimer gave followers obvious hints to Nutella being the name for the next major Android release. However, Google is yet to confirm on its blog that Nutella will be the name. Whether you think Nutella will be the name of the release or not, is if you believe Lockheimer’s tweets. I would say Nutella is a solid favorite at this point. Although it could just be Lockheimer teasing us.

What do you think? We want to hear from you. Drop a comment down below on what you think Google’s next Android release will be called.
