Deal: Save up to $300 over two years on select flagship smartphones at Verizon

To kick off the nice weather and welcome in the Spring season, Verizon is running deals on select Android flagship smartphones. For a limited time, buyers can save up to $300 over a two-year period when buying a high-end Samsung or Google smartphone.

If you’re into Verizon and in the market for a brand new smartphone whether you be new or a current customer, there are some really good deals available right now. The Google Pixel 2 XL deal we mentioned two weeks ago here has been refined to entail $300 off in addition to the big bundle of goodies including two months of free YouTube TV, a Chromecast, and Google Home Mini speaker. This is quite a deal on Google’s latest smartphone, which does not happen all that often, so if you dig the phone like us, now’s your chance to save some money and get invested in Google’s growing ecosystem of products. Perhaps this is another attempt by Google and Verizon to provide a sales boost after some dissapointing numbers.

Verizon is also running a similar promotion on the 2018 smartphones from Samsung . The Galaxy S9 can be had for $200 less, the Galaxy S9+ for $300 less, and the Galaxy Note 8 for $300 less. Since this puts the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ at almost the same price, we recommend going for the plus variant if you’re considering this promotion. For both the Google and Samsung offers, the savings will be dispersed evenly over 24 months on your bill, which is essentially the carrier’s way of keeping you enrolled for service over two years. We saw a similar deal run around the holiday season last year. Just beware that shall you leave the carrier and pay off your phone, the remaining savings becomes due. No trade-in is needed.

Grab any of the phones down at the links and get free shipping or head out to a local Verizon store. Let us know if you’ll be among those buying, in the comments.
