More apps and games join Google’s ‘Android Excellence’ collection in July

Android Excellence is a category on Google’s Play Store consisting of apps and games that comply with Google’s latest material design rules and work on a large list of Android devices. Each also performs above a certain standard and is optimized properly so much so that it catches the eyes of Google employees and becomes a recommendation. Some are super popular and others aren’t much at all and never hit the top lists, making this category different apart most other. As of July, the Android Excellence category saw the inclusion of several new apps and games that are of good variety.

Google has revealed the apps and games it has chosen for the ‘Android Excellence’ selection as it does near the start of every quarter. This week, the Android Excellence program welcomed in 14 new apps and 7 new games. You’ll find everything from games to entertainment apps in Google’s collection. Some names might ring a bell from the past and have been improved through updates, while others are very new. See the above image for the newly added apps and games.
