After quite a bit of delay, Samsung has finally begun rolling out support today for PayPal payments within Samsung Pay. By doing so, Samsung Pay only distances itself further from the mobile payment competition that lags behind.

Shortly after announcing the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ at Unpacked 2018, it has been reported that Samsung has acquired an Egyptian-based startup company known as Kngine to help with Bixby. Kngine was started in 2013 and has been developing its own AI that functions much like the human brain. Samsung could use the company’s know-how to help with Bixby 2.0, said to release later this year alongside Galaxy Note 9 and a Bixby smart speaker.
