Pixel 2 buyers now receiving their free Google Home Mini promo code

Did you pre-order a Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL? If you did, and made your purchase from Google or one of its retail partners such as Verizon or Best Buy, you’re eligible for a free Google Home Mini speaker. All pre-order buyers of either flagship are being emailed a promo code as we speak.

Google is not shipping the free Google Home Mini automatically, but instead emailing a promo code to all buyers that can be used to redeem the free unit through the Google Store. The deal is no longer active, and was for those who pre-ordered the smartphone, only.

Eligible customers will get to choose from Chalk, Charcoal, and Coral color options, as pictured above. However, some color options may run out of stock faster than others, and once this happens, there will be no telling whether it’ll be back before the promo code redemption period expires. So make sure you place your free order soon if you have demand for a certain color.

If you’re not eligible for the promotion because you didn’t buy a Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL, you can still buy a Google Home Mini for $49. And, if you wait a few weeks, it’s rumored that the speaker will cost just $35 for Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
