Samsung’s Sunrise Gold-flavored Galaxy S9 models release today in the US, here’s the official TVC

Last week, Samsung announced that its Sunrise Gold variant of this year’s flagship Galaxy S9 phones would come to the US. The colorway has already been available in select markets, but hits stores in the US as of today!

Sunrise Gold is joining Midnight Black, Lilac Purple, Coral Blue, and Titanium Gray. It’s available for each the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ from select retailers unlocked. Pre-orders have begun shipping and the phone is now available for buyers in the US at the same price all the other Galaxy S9 models retail for.

While all specs are unchanged, the design is glamorous with Gold backing and trim with a Black front. Samsung put out a commercial that shows the phone’s design from every angle for you to see. Trust me when I say Samsung really wants you to buy this phone. With the addition of Sunrise Gold, the total number of colors offered comes up to five, which is a lot but not for Samsung who is no stranger when it comes to color variants.

Despite being one of the best Android flagships on the market, Galaxy S9 saw sluggish sales out the gate in Korea and other nations due to the immense competition. With the Gold variant, Samsung is giving consumers a new option that might grab people’s attention while the company works on its next phone, the Galaxy Note 9. Samsung has already tried to spark demand with storage variants and price discounts, and now it’ll be up the company’s advertising to drive more sales.

If you see the commercial on TV, drop us a comment and let us know if you’re buying either phone. We’ve embedded the promotional video below.
