During the Super Bowl this year, U.S. carriers such as Sprint and T-Mobile will seek to grab your attention. The two carriers have already released their TV spots which will debut during the game on Sunday, February 5th around 6:30 EST time on FOX. Here’s what we make of them.
Sprint’s commercial will occupy a pricey spot, as do just about all commercials televised during the big game. Sprint’s famous “Can You Hear Me Now?” guy is returning in this one with his bright yellow jacket and argues that Sprint’s network reliability is just 1% under Verizon’s, but offers service at a much more affordable rate. We don’t want to spoil the commercial, which is quite funny, so we’ve included it here for you to watch and launch at.
T-Mobile will also be hosting a commercial during America’s big game this weekend. But instead of taking a shot at another carrier, like they typically do, the spot is focused on just themselves. Surprise, surprise! Making appearances in the ad are several celebrities or stars including Justin Bieber, Rob Gronkowsi and Terrell Owens. The ad focuses on T-Mobile’s new One unlimited plan and that one can “say goodbye to limits” with “Unlimited Moves” and no hidden fees. Watch it below.
