The Galaxy S8 will be available in Coral Blue from Friday, July 21

Samsung has announced that from Friday, July 21, the Coral Blue color variant of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will be available to US customers from Best Buy and Samsung stores.

The Coral Blue color has previously been available in different markets around the world and had previously been rumored to be arriving in the United States of America, but until now, Samsung had kept quiet on the subject. We understand that Samsung is careful with their market and color combinations, and try’s to engineer continuing interest in some of its devices after its release. Coral Blue or ‘Blue Coral’ seems to be the company’s late color addition for flagship smartphones, as was the case with the now-deceased Galaxy Note 7

Apart from the color, the Coral Blue Galaxy S8 models are identical to their other color peers – in the US, the Galaxy S8 family is also available in Midnight Black, Arctic Silver and Orchid Gray colors. Each model uses Samsung’s ‘Infinity Display’ technology, which combines a bezel-less design and Mobile HDR Premium certification. This gives the Galaxy S8 models a large screen display without increasing the size of the physical handset.

If you have been holding off from buying the Galaxy S8 for whatever reason, you’ll have another option from tomorrow! Best Buy will be running a promotion that slashes $400 off the retail price of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ models for qualifying purchases. Samsung has also announced a $150 discount on their unlocked Coral Blue devices that will be for a limited time once the new color arrives.
